Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Xi Zeta Omega Chapter proudly invites you to our 118th Founders’ Day Celebration at Bammy’s Modern Caribbean Restaurant on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

We’re taking over the restaurant for an evening of fellowship, fun, and flavorful Caribbean cuisine as we honor 118 years of sisterhood and service. Fun is on us, and food and drinks are on you! This event is open to the public, so bring your friends and family and be part of this special occasion!

Come celebrate history, community, and culture with us!

Join us for a meaningful day of service at Busboys and Poets in Brookland! We’ll be coming together to support students and families at Brookland Middle School by assembling Warm-Up Kits filled with new hats, gloves, and socks.

How You Can Help:

• Bring a donation of new hats, gloves, and socks.
• Come ready to lend a hand as we assemble the kits for distribution.

After the service activity, you’re invited to stay and enjoy a meal to support this incredible local business and continue building community connections.

Registration is temporarily paused for the public and only available to our membership. If you are an inactive member or general and are interested in attending, please email program@akaxzo.com.
